Sunday October 28 2007. Caroline Cooper completes the Great South Run
Caroline has recently completed her Great South Run challenge, and has given the following account of how she found her experience: "Despite the fairly challenging weather conditions (wind, rain and the waves breaking right over the sea wall!), the race went well and I raised over 500GBP. Lots of supporters braved the elements to support the 18,500 runners who turned out to raise money for a wide variety of charities."

Monday April 23 2007. Callidus Consulting working with Nissan
Nissan have recently announced a major focus and investment in their dealer network with the appointment of Callidus Consulting as their strategic 'talent pooling' partner. With a brief to create and improve effective recruitment and talent pooling practices within the network, the Callidus team are now working closely with both NMGB and dealer management. 'We chose Callidus as our partner because they consistently demonstrated their deep understanding for the challenges our dealers face together with an innovative, cost-effective solution for those challenges,' commented Phil Roper, Quality Performance Manager at NMGB. 'One of our primary objectives in the coming years is to establish each of our dealers as both a visible and aspirational employer in their area, and one of the innovations Callidus bring to the table is a toolkit that helps the dealer not just match talent to vacancies, but how to develop a talent pool over time, therefore reducing the cost, time and ultimately need to hire, all of which directly impact on dealer profitability.'
'The whole Callidus team are thrilled to be working closely with NMGB on this exciting initiative' added Iain Cooper, Callidus' Managing Director. 'NMGB have been visionary from the outset about their ambitions in this area and it's further evidence of their long term commitment to their dealer partners. Many businesses are aware that long term talent pooling is an issue - especially at a local level, but not many show the foresight to meet those issues head on.'
