Leading a diverse team – centrally and regionally, you will ensure a high volume of unit (vehicle) movements engaging with all key stakeholders and demonstrating where efficiency and savings can be delivered against strategic business plans. You will be responsible to the UK Operations Director and fully accountable for the business unit as it grows.
You have a full understanding of fleet and logistics management, including training, health & safety, budgets, contracts and licence/legislative requirements. You are innovative and a natural leader who can bring clarity, common sense and simplicity to an operationally complex business environment.
Our client is a global salvage and remarketing company of significant scale. Operating throughout England and on a smaller scale in Scotland they run a mixed fleet of commercial transporters, forklifts and other plant equipment and employ localised management and drivers around the UK.
