Head of Client Services (Maternity Cover)

This is a 6/9 month maternity cover but for the right candidate this will potentially become a permanent Relationship Manager position.

The Role

Managing a team of circa 35, both office based and spread across regional sites, you will take responsibility for service delivery to a number of key accounts.   The primary focus of this role is to manage the process to ensure delivery of customer contractual and business KPIs.

 

Specific responsibilities will include;

  • Developing a customer focused service delivery team whilst maintaining business profitability objectives - including recruiting, developing and mentoring team members ensuring a succession plan is developed for key roles.
  • Managing customer administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Attending regular customer review meetings and present business performance as required.
  • Being champion of the Quality Management System in line with the company’s ISO 9001 2015 accreditation.
  • Driving forward system improvements and playing an integral part in development planning, testing and implication consulting with all customers and areas of the business affected.
  • Supporting Operations Director in contract negotiations and pricing, drawing up of supply contacts and implementing new customers both system wise and practically at a site level.
  • Managing the customer assets through an internal asset and logistics team ensuring all vehicles are managed in line with customer requirements.
  • Working closely with the Head of Technical Services and site General Managers to ensure customer capacity demand is successfully managed within the business.
  • Ensuring new customer implementations are managed in line with business and customer requirements.

They are a multi-site, high profile operator in their market with a very strong and established parent company and have a reputation for consistently producing high quality work and subsequently winning and retaining great business.

About You

You have a demonstrable track record managing a client service delivery function – including the implementation of change and innovation.  You have an ability to train, coach and mentor others with an emphasis on continual development. An effective communicator able to communicate effectively at all levels, you have strong business acumen with previous experience in project / programme management in a cross functional team.

Experience within an automotive de-fleet or comparable motor industry environment would be a major advantage.
