Business Development Manager - Automotive Aftermarket
Base circa £50k + 20% OTE (uncapped) + company car and benefits
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business, in a business development role which will typically be split between 3 days on the road and 2 days in the office. Target market is commercial vehicle aftermarket including major manufacturers, end users and small businesses, with a particular focus on off highway vehicles. You will work to identify potential areas of growth to the business. Using your knowledge of the market and well-developed commercial ability, you will identify, convert and deliver long-term, sustainable and profitable business. You will also work closely with a reactive internal team who respond to customer requirements - helping to analyze performance metrics and maximize delivery.
The successful individual will have a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new business sales and account growth within the automotive aftermarket. You are committed to ensuring current customers are provided with excellent service delivering continuity and growth - and are also able to identify, prospect and convert quality new business. In addition, you are a team player who is a highly effective communicator who can build strong relationships both internally and externally. You will always look to deliver excellence and have a commitment to continued improvement at all levels. You understand the importance of data and effective monitoring / reporting to maximize efficiency and are comfortable initiating change as needed.
