Role will be a mix of home, office and customer based.
From £33k - £50k base depending on experience plus car and benefits (variable with grade)
Our client is looking for a Product Trainer to work alongside their Client Services team to ensure they deliver the best possible experience to their users. Their primary product is a dedicated and comprehensive fleet management solution for providers of leasing and contract hire. This will be the key focus of the role but there is also a range of related ancillary software products.
You will engage with your colleagues and clients, developing great relationships that allow you to support their training and achieve their “buy-in” rather than just instructing them on processes.
The role will be a mix of office, home and customer based with most customers being in the South and South East.
As part of the role you will:
- Train yourself to become an expert in the key company products – with support where required of course.
- Create and implement training guides for customers and colleagues
- Liaise with customers to ensure they are utilising the products appropriately to suit their needs, including phone as well as face to face meetings
- Liaise with the development team to ensure customers are supported to the best possible levels and that any issues or improvements that could be made are constantly identified
Assist in diagnosing any user reported bugs
- You will also back up the Product and Quality Control Team with software testing and be involved in document creation.
With a great commercial awareness, you will also identify gaps in provision of services and market opportunities - both for your business and your customers.

With a minimum of 3 years software training experience ideally in the automotive / leasing sector ( the more senior level role will require expertise with fleet management software and other relevant products), you have great communication skills, both verbally and written and a genuine interest and curiosity to progress within a forward-thinking organisation.
As you are very unlikely to have used the key products, you have the capacity to train yourself using the excellent user manuals, including identifying and asking for help and support when required.
You are a team player and have a commitment to finding best client solutions with a capacity to take initiative and seek responsibility.
You are also entrepreneurial and have good commercial awareness. You can recognise gaps in service provision and other market opportunities – both on behalf of your employer and your clients.
Ideally you also have some basic scripting/programming knowledge.
