Regional Manager, Dealer Sales
Base £45k to £50k plus £500pm car allowance and uncapped commission
East Anglia / East of England
Covering postcodes CB, SG, CM, CO, IP, NR, SS, LU and AL
This field-based role is 75% new business and 25% account management selling market leading services and solutions to automotive dealerships. You will cover the East Anglia / East of England including Cambridge, Stevenage, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Luton, Southend-on-Sea and St Albans.
You will prospect both franchised and independent dealers (over a certain size) and deliver great new business. You will be supported by technology, a great database and targeted marketing campaigns, but will also be expected to prospect independently.
As well as delivering new business, you will retain a portfolio of key dealers carrying out quarterly reviews and ensuring great service delivery.

You have a track record of success working in a motor dealer – most likely as a Business Manager or Sales Manager. This experience in a dealer, with an understanding of how a dealer operates and what they need to be successful is essential.
In addition, you have done a B2B Motor Dealer development role – and can evidence your success in identifying, prospecting and delivering great new business. Ideally you have done this on the relevant territory so know it well and have good knowledge of the dealers in the region. The specific products you have sold are not critical – as you will have great training from the company.
You also build strong relationships and have managed dealer accounts - becoming a recognised point of support and expertise, carrying out regular reviews to ensure the dealer client is maximising their return from your company’s products as well as identifying additional requirements and sales opportunities.
Confident but never arrogant, you are professional and have great listening skills.
