The Role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business that was a pioneer in the remanufacturer or ECUs within the UK, that has recently become part of a highly ambitious international group. Based from their purpose-built manufacturing facility in the Staffordshire, you will lead a team of salespeople (circa 7) including one dedicated marketing professional. Target market is independent commercial vehicle aftermarket including users and small businesses. You will provide hands on guidance to your team both on site and on the road, delivering excellent customer satisfaction as well as new business, delivering sustainable growth that meets both your customers' needs and the company's targets. This is a role for someone who understands the importance of being present for your colleagues and customers - our client is not looking for someone based remotely. You will work to identify potential areas of growth to the business - using your knowledge of the market and well-developed commercial ability.

About You

The successful individual will have a demonstrable track record of success leading a sales team and must live locally to Cannock or happy to relocate promptly.  Understanding / experience specifically of the independent parts aftermarket in the UK is essential. You are committed to ensuring current customers are provided with excellent service delivering continuity and growth - and are also able to identify, prospect and convert quality new business. In addition, you are a team player who is a highly effective communicator who can build strong relationships both internally and externally. You will always look to deliver excellence and have a commitment to continued improvement at all levels.

Our Client 

Our client is a well established and highly innovative business that developed and delivered the ground-breaking concept of ECU testing and remanufacturing  - that was unique to the UK marketplace. It was facilitated by the construction of a manually operated universal real time engine simulator, that could be expanded and adapted to incorporate new systems and new technological changes as ECUs became common place in the 1990's. Since this time the company has expanded and is directly involved with sales, production, research and development within this sector. In 2019, the business was acquired by a US based company  becoming part of a globally owned company. It now  offers a range of remanufactured and new products. The current range has over 5000 part numbers, covering more than 20,000 original equipment and vehicle manufacturers part numbers.
