John Given

John has worked in the fleet industry for more than 30 years. Initially with Autolease, where as Sales Director he helped the business grow from 12,000 vehicles to 146,000 to become the FN50 number 1. He took the Commercial Director role at GE Fleet and helped the company return to growth, through significant new business gains and increased customer ‘share of wallet’. In 2007 John joined Manheim as its Group Sales Director, taking his sales leadership experience to the world’s largest vehicle remarketing company. He returned to fleet management in 2011 joining Pendragon Contracts as Sales and Marketing Director. John now provides consultancy to fleets, in particular around, cost reduction, tender management and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers. He also works with leasing and fleet management companies on projects, such as new product development, sales coaching, and customer engagement –all subjects which he is hugely passionate about.
