We’d like you to invest your time with us in a way that gives you maximum return.
Primarily we do this by asking key questions that will get us to the heart of your automotive recruitment needs. The more we know about what success in the role looks like, and how it is measured, and the more we know about culture and what will be a good personal fit for the recruiting manager, the more focused we can be on getting it right for all concerned.
How we support your business
We will advise early in the conversations whether success is best achieved through a no-win-no-fee engagement, or we feel a retained search will deliver better results. Often we will recommend a face-to-face meeting with you to more fully explore the business and, on our candidates’ behalf, ask the kind of questions a job description doesn’t answer.
Extension of your team
From that point, we work as an extension of your management team and will represent you accordingly, ensuring all candidates receive a good impression of your business and are thoroughly screened and briefed with the information you shared with us early in the process.
According to the nature and level of the role, and how we are engaged, we implement a number of layers of our own pre-selection process before a candidate gets as far as your shortlist. Where practically possible to do so, this includes a structured face-to-face interview – usually adopted for senior customer-facing and manager/leader-level roles where the soft and commercial skills are as important as technical skill or experience. This means we can flesh out for you a feel for the person behind the CV, which is all-important when it comes to cultural and personality fit with your business.
Throughout the process we will let you know how we’re getting on, what’s working, and advise on what to change if your ‘perfect candidate’ is not forthcoming. Our approach has enabled us to build long-term relationships with many key automotive businesses.
