Update from the Callidus Team – 23rd March 2020
This is a really challenging time for all of us and like every business our priority is the safety of our team and the candidates and clients we work with. All the Callidus team are working remotely and taking the advised precautions to protect themselves and their families.
We just want to outline to our candidates and clients how we plan to continue to support you through this challenging time, and while we appreciate there are many other priorities, we know from the contact people are making with us that finding the right job or right employee is still on plenty of people’s to do list.
Firstly, to our candidates
As I’m sure you understand, many of our roles have been put on hold. Some are still live and will progress using remote interviewing – but it is likely start dates will be deferred until life is more normal. We are endeavouring to make sure everyone is updated about the status of any role they have applied for, but if you need clarification – don’t hesitate to contact us.
We are confident that many of the paused positions will come back to us at a later date and if you have been in consideration, we will get in touch at that point. We also want to assure you that we will also consider you for any new vacancies at the appropriate time. We always look at our own database first when a new role comes available.
In the meantime, if you would like a confidential chat about your career – feel free to get in contact by emailing (caroline.cooper@callidusconsulting.com) or 01420 87300.
Secondly to our clients
We know you are currently fully busy adapting your working procedures and practices to this new normal.
We completely understand that most roles now need to be put on hold. If you have a critical position that needs to be filled, we will commit with our usual energy to finding the right person – whilst observing all the precautions currently needed.
Where roles are delayed, we’ll work to find a pipeline of talent for you so that when life starts to return to normal, we can move quickly to help you fill essential vacancies.
If you want to discuss any of this – do call us. Our office number is being diverted or you can call Iain or Caroline directly (07951 046 462 or 07984 454 869).
In addition
If anyone is aware of a business or organisation providing critical services that needs to recruit – we are happy to provide whatever help we can in terms of advertising, search etc free of charge. We have advertising credits available on most of the major job-boards and would be delighted to use our skills and access in any way that might help. This might particularly apply across transport, logistics and supply chain which has a fair overlap with what we do – but we are happy to offer our services wherever we might be needed.
It might just be posting an advert or sending out some tweets – but as they say, “every little helps”!
Finally – we wish you all the best, stay safe and we look forward to speaking to you soon. We are happy to chat anytime – so if you need someone to talk to, pick up the phone.
